Not a stone left unturned! 23 years this kitchen has worked tirelessly day in and day out - for now she shall rest. Not sure what tomorrow will bring but I am sure we will be ready!

From top to bottom - Eddingtons is cleaning and sanitizing every inch of the restaurant the next couple days.
Don’t fret - we kept our distance and sanitized every step of the way. We will remained closed for the remaining of this week as previously booked for scheduled maintenance.
As for what to do.... I will share with you the message I shared with the team today! “
Dear Eddington’s Team,
I hope each and everyone of you are healthy, safe and enjoying some quality at home with loved ones. As you know, we in the restaurant industry do not always have the opportunity to do so, so try to spend the time in positive ways.
As most of you are aware we have been mandated to close the dining room as per direction of the Ontario Government and Public Health.
I do not have a clear vision of next week but I have been considering all my options, and I will keep you informed with more communications in the coming days. I will make a decisions for take outs/deliveries over the weekend as more information and regulations develop.

I am reviewing the Government Emergency Funding for COVID-19 ~ and have you ~ our dedicated staff as a priority.

As we enter this next phase in our battle with COVID-19, Eddington’s of Exeter will continue to prioritize three things:
The health and well-being of our staff, customers, and communities;
Serving our customers to the very best of our ability despite challenging conditions; and
Supporting health officials and government leaders as they work to contain the spread of this virus.
You have my promise that we will continue to make decisions with vigilance and courage, informed by the latest information and guided by our cornerstone values.

Please advise me via email or text if any staff has any reservations of your own health and wellness before we re-open.

Please note we are closed March Break for pre planned scheduled maintenance.

At Eddington’s of Exeter, the well-being of our guests and the community is important to us. This is why we would like to inform you that as a stakeholder in our local economy, we are seriously monitoring the situation surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus). As such, rest assured that we are closely following indications from the Public Health Agency of Canada as well as from provincial authorities. Canada remains a safe destination and the risk of contagion to Huron County remains low.

However, in the interests of public health and excellence in our service, we are taking action. For example, since the prevention of the spread mainly involves the adoption of adequate sanitary measures, our usual standards as to the sanitation and hygiene of our establishment is diligently observed, and even raised. From Menus to door handles. Sanitization has always been our priority and will continue to be.
